This course aims to develop the skills needed to improve network efficiency, increase system utilization and safety, and enhance system failure sensitivity by incorporating advanced management tasks and techniques. The result should be enhanced infrastructure security, lower infrastructure services costs, more robust IT infrastructure, faster open source technology deployment, and improved infrastructure services and products quality.
The course focuses on the deployment and management of network servers running DNS, MariaDB, Apache HTTPD, Postfix SMTP nullclients, Network File Sharing with Network File System (NFS) and Server Message Block (SMB), iSCSI initiators and targets, advanced networking and firewall configurations and to support simplify, customize, and troubleshoot the process using bash shell scripting.
